the staff was lovely and helpful. the honesty shop had lots of useful food and drink items. i enjoyed the great views over dean's village.
i booked a two bedroom suite, however, one of the toilets was backed up. i was informed that this was to be expected of such an old building. this was not acceptable. the building was totally refurbished when it was converted from offices twenty years ago.

The suite was grand. It included two bathrooms. A honesty bar offered reasonably priced items. I found this convenient. The staff was genuinely helpful.
a slight inconvenience, the wi-fi signal was occasionally weak in certain areas of my suite, it hindered video calls.

the building has private, secure parking available for £15. A lounge area provides complimentary coffee, tea, and other drinks. a room with a pool table and football table is available for guest use.

A continental breakfast is available. Guests order via qr code. Breakfast can be picked up in reception after 8:30. the honesty shop offers snacks, wine, and essentials at prices comparable to local shops.

The front desk staff is friendly and accommodating. They offer assistance with early check-in when possible. staff can provide information and assistance with local transportation options. That was helpful.

suite 22 provided ample space for myself and my two teenagers. the king size bed provided considerable comfort, and the ensuite bathroom impressed me with its cleanliness. i found that the pull-down twin murphy beds and bedding in the living room were a good solution for my teens. it was also positive they had their own shower room.
i must report that one of the toilets exhibited significant clogging, which i found not acceptable. i received an explaination stating this was expected, due to the building age. this issue negatively impacted my experience, specially i expect basic hygiene facilities to be fully functional.

the hotel is in town houses. they have kept original victorian features. it has atmosphere. the rooms are well furnished. our room faced the north side of the building. it had views of dean village and the modern art museums.
The hotel lacked some finesse. it covered all basics.
